Rhythm and Rhyme

When I started swatching with Cashgora Sport yarn, I immediately knew what kind of pattern I wanted to design: one that could occupy my hands and ease my mind, where the yarn takes center stage, and results in a simple, versatile wardrobe staple with interesting design elements.

Rhythm & Rhyme offers several customization opportunities: three different neckline options and two body lengths to create an easy-to-style layering piece that you can wear almost all year round.

Construction: Rhythm and Rhyme is a classic round yoke pullover that is worked from the top down. You start by casting on stitches provisionally and work the pullover in an all-over textured pattern. You have a choice of making a cropped or full-body length as well as three different neck options: a wide neck with an I-cord edge, a ribbed crewneck, and a ribbed turtleneck. The ribbed crewneck and turtleneck have German Short Row shaping to raise the back, whereas the wide neck has no short row shaping.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9) sample is Size 2, worn with 2.25"/6 cm of ease in chest
